In-depth advocacy training, policy briefings, networking opportunities for Historic Tax Credit advocates will take place March 9<sup>th<\/sup>. Participants will be able to participate in virtual Capitol Hill visits March 10<sup>th<\/sup>. Registration is now live, and to participate in Capitol Hill visits, please <a href=\"https:\/\/preservationvirginia.us11.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=47f7104306d410732cbd7c480&amp;id=0a1cf879aa&amp;e=993b6fafc5\">register<\/a> as an \u201cadvocate.\u201d If this is your first time participating in the conference, please email Michael Phillips at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:mphillips@ntcic.com\" target=\"_blank\">mphillips@ntcic.com<\/a> to assist in connecting you with appropriate registration links and individuals coordinating the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-dark-gray-background-color has-dark-gray-color\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The recent snowy weather is ideal for doing some reading in historic news articles. Like any good treasure hunt, you never know what you might find when you start a general search. While some searches turned up nothing, we stumbled across a deep rabbit-hole of stories related to the <a href=\"https:\/\/handley.pastperfectonline.com\/photo\/FB798A90-DFD9-4CDF-9C08-355700210048\"><strong>Hotel Evans on Piccadilly Street<\/strong><\/a> while attempting to find information on the Hotel Evans of Sharp Street. If you would like to follow the saga of attempted murders related to James M.
