She will talk informally about the history of the school and the creation of the book she co-authored with June Gaskins-Davis, &#8220;History of Douglas School Winchester, Virginia: A Tribute to Endurance, Belief, Perseverance, and Success.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> Thursday, November 12, 2015<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> Noon-1 p.m. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/zrEO1\">June E. Jeffrey Education Center at  OakCrest Companies, 126 N. Kent Street, Winchester, VA.<\/a> The Education Center is at the upper parking lot, in the addition closest to the Winchester Star building. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost:<\/strong> The Lunch and Learn lectures are <strong>free<\/strong> and open to the public!<\/p>\n<p><strong>RSVPs:<\/strong> Appreciated but not required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking:<\/strong> There is no off-street parking available at OakCrest.
