Guided Tours of Rouss City Hall
See the past come back to life with a guided tour through the nooks and crannies of this century old building (photos from the past included). Tours of City Hall by City Planning Director Tim Youmans can be customized for large or small groups on most any day of the week with advanced notice. An illustrated City Hall History PowerPoint presentation ranging in length from 20-60 minutes can also be offered in City Hall or at civic club meetings. Call Tim Youmans, Planning Director, at 667-1815 to schedule your group for a tour of historic Rouss City Hall.

Civil War Walking Tours
Winchester, Stephens City, and Middletown all offer guided walking Civil War tours from June through October. Click here for the brochure! Reservations are required, and tours cost $5 per person.

Self Guided Civil War and Architecture Tours
For those looking to set their own pace and time on a walking tour of downtown Winchester, PDF files of the Civil War and Architecture tours are available for you to download. Both tours are one to one and a half miles in length and will take approximately one to one and a half hours complete.

Architectural Treasure Hunt
Are you up for a treasure hunt? PHW and the Old Town Development Board put together an Architectural Treasure Hunt on the Old Town Walking Mall for National Preservation Month in May 2006. Test your skills by printing out the form here before walking the mall on Loudoun Street. All structures are visible from the Loudoun Street Walking Mall.
